Client Development Manager
We are looking for a Client Development Manager to join our Personal Shopping Team here at Harrods. The Client Development Manager is responsible for the delivery of the Personal Shopping Services and strategy in terms of service, sales, and client relationship management.
About The Role
You will act as the initial point of contact for our Personal Shopping Service, responsible for welcoming, engaging and acquiring new clients. Alongside our Personal Shopping Managers and Personal Shoppers, you will represent the face of our service, leveraging available data and insights to maximise opportunities for both clients and the business. You will proactively recommend ways to enhance the client experience and further build engagement and loyalty that represents the world’s leading Personal Shopping Services.
Other responsibilities of the role include:
- Fostering and maintaining close relationships with key stakeholders.
- Following up with Client, PSM’s, and Personal Shoppers to ensure successful acquisition has been achieved and taking corrective action where required.
- Ensure all team members understand the importance of building loyalty and client relationships for life and how this can elevate Harrods.
- Accelerate the successful onboarding of new client acquisitions by assessing potential in order to assign the most appropriate Shopper and overseeing the introduction to the Personal Shopping Services.
- Develop an engaging and targeted calendar of activations and initiatives for relevant clients at the appropriate time.
- Support the team to build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the business.
- Influence key peers both within Personal Shopping as well as business wide to take actions required to deliver the health of your portfolio.
About You
We are looking for an individual who has excellent organisation and communication skills, who can learn and adapt to the needs of Personal Shopping. You will have in depth knowledge of our clients, their lifestyle, and services that we provide. You will thrive in working towards targets such as customer retention, service delivery, and client engagement.
You will also have the following qualities:
- Entrepreneurial and commercially minded, as Client Development Manager you will actively seek opportunities to build relationships and elevate the Divisions luxury lifestyle service reputation.
- Demonstrate expertise in luxury lifestyle knowledge and relationship building and share this with your team.
- Proactive mindset to suggest ways to enhance the Personal Shopping Services for the benefit of Clients and Harrods.
- Keep up to date with current trends, promotions and products in store.
- Strong relationship building skills to collaborate with General Retail managers, Marketing, Events, Concessions Partners and many more to ensure the success of our Personal Shopping Service.
