Job Description
The incumbent will be part of a dynamic team that is responsible for servicing OMIG’s wholesale retail clients and prospective clients i.e. DFMs, Rretail FoFs, LISPs and IFA Brokerages. The role requires a combination of skills, including proposal and brochure writing and a strong technical understanding of investments. The successful candidate will get exposure to a wide range of functions across the business. The role requires interaction with people at all levels from across the business.
Key Result Areas
- Compile investment proposals, questionnaires, brochures and capability documents
- Maintaining a repository of relevant and accurate information on OMIG and investment capabilities
- Managing client due diligences and report-backs, ensuring an efficient process in preparation and reviewing material
- Take ownership of presentations specific to your client segment
- Interpret and manage client queries and respond professionally
- Develop, evaluate, monitor and make recommendations on client material to showcase funds and capabilities
- Support relevant representation of capabilities on the website and surveys
- Assist with managing take-ons and terminations
- Reviewing fact sheets and reports content and ensure high quality and accuracy
- Develop high quality investment content for review and signoff
- Manage assigned projects to enhance efficiencies.
- Attend client report-backs and due diligence meetings from time to time
Requirements: Skills, Qualifications and Experience required
- BCom degree or similar
- 5 years investments related experience
- Computer literacy
- Experience in client communication and needs analysis
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Passion for investments
- Understanding of investment performance and market surveys

- Flexibility: Given the wide range of functions and interactions involved, adaptability and flexibility in approach and tasks are valuable competencies.
- Presentation Skills: The Client Associate should have the ability to present business-related content during client report-backs and due diligence meetings when a back-up is required.
