Join us as an Enterprise Architect (Mid), where you will design, plan, and optimize enterprise architecture solutions to support the strategic objectives of a Federal Law Enforcement Agency. In this role, you will align technology with organizational goals, ensuring a scalable and secure IT ecosystem. This role is on site in Quantico, VA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement enterprise architecture frameworks and strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and establish system design standards.
- Evaluate existing IT infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement and recommending innovative solutions.
- Integrate cloud-based and on-premises systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Contribute to the migration of legacy systems to modern platforms, supporting hybrid cloud strategies.
- Prepare and present detailed technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and system roadmaps to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and best practices.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend their adoption to enhance the agency's IT ecosystem.
- Support cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality architecture designs and implementations.
Required Skills / Experience:
- Proficiency in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, DoDAF, or Zachman.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid cloud strategies.
- Knowledge of integrating Free Open Source Software (FOSS) and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products into enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity standards, compliance frameworks, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Top-Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in enterprise architecture or IT infrastructure design, demonstrating expertise in complex technical environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (substitution: certifications or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Experience supporting IT modernization initiatives for a Federal Law Enforcement Agency or similar organizations.
- Familiarity with IT service management tools like Atlassian, ServiceNow, or Ivanti.
- Knowledge of data governance practices and enterprise data management strategies.
**This position is onsite in Quantico, VA 5 days a week. **

The proposed salary for this position is:
$110,900—$184,800 USD
