Join us as an Information Systems Training Specialist (Junior), where you will design and deliver training programs that empower users to effectively utilize IT systems and tools. In this role, you will support a Federal Law Enforcement Agency by enhancing user knowledge and proficiency, ensuring seamless adoption of new technologies. This role is on site in Quantico, VA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs for IT systems, ensuring materials meet user needs and align with organizational objectives.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching for end-users on system functionality and best practices.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and technical teams to gather information and develop user-centric training content.
- Create and update training materials, including user manuals, quick reference guides, and multimedia content.
- Maintain and administer a centralized knowledge management system, ensuring training resources are accessible to authorized personnel.
- Provide post-training support to address user inquiries and ensure effective adoption of IT systems.
- Gather feedback from trainees and stakeholders to continuously improve training materials and delivery methods.
- Stay informed about updates to IT systems and incorporate changes into training materials and sessions.
Required Skills / Experience:
- Proficiency in developing training materials, including guides, presentations, and e-learning modules.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and software applications.
- Experience with knowledge management systems or learning management platforms.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Top-Secret security clearance
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in training delivery, instructional design, or a related field (certifications or past work may substitute for experience).
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CompTIA CTT+, Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), or similar.
- Experience providing IT training in a government or Federal Law Enforcement Agency environment.
- Familiarity with tools such as Atlassian Confluence, Microsoft SharePoint, or similar collaboration platforms.
- Knowledge of instructional design models such as ADDIE or SAM.
**This position is onsite in Quantico, VA 5 days a week. **

The proposed salary for this position is:
$72,600—$120,900 USD
