Claims Team Manager - Subrogation Auto
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced and results-driven Subrogation Team Manager to lead our Inbound Subrogation Review Team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient evaluation of inbound subrogation demands, ensuring cost controls, and fostering a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Auto Physical Damage, negligence, liability assessment, and intercompany arbitration while demonstrating exceptional leadership, analytical, and continuous improvement skills.
Job Duties

Review claim files regularly for quality. Track and monitor all statistical measures and behavioral indicators to evaluate Claims Reps performance (e.g. file review, audits, reports and complaints).

Coach and counsel employees on performance in a responsive and timely manner.

Resolve a variety of customer service issues through communication and interaction. Implement effective ways (internal/external) to monitor and evaluate customer concerns, issues, satisfaction, and anticipate customer needs.

Manage employee recruitment and development effectively. Identify and implement staff development and training needs to support an effective succession plan.

Lead meetings in collaboration with unit management to communicate goals with direct reports and reinforce/monitor behavior that furthers technical and customer service performance expectations.

Maintain knowledge of current industry developments and best practices.

Participate in committees and projects that will support the organization's goals and objectives.
Qualifications

Bachelors Equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred

4-6 years Automotive Claims handling Required

Expertise in Auto Physical Damage, negligence evaluation, and liability determination.

Strong knowledge of intercompany arbitration processes and best practices.

Ability to drive performance and create a competitive team environment.

Advanced data analytics skills with the ability to interpret trends and make data-driven decisions.

Experience in team building, coaching, and performance management.

Strong reporting and presentation abilities, with experience presenting findings to leadership.

Continuous improvement mindset, always looking for opportunities to enhance processes and efficiencies.

Proficiency in claims systems and analytical tools.
The starting pay range for this position is:
$90,400.00 - $120,300.00
