Manage People - Train on new or revised procedures and inform staff of changes. Maintain attendance and personnel records, responsible for interviewing, hiring, discipline of, and terminating employees. Responsible for preparation and administration of reviews.
Manage Workflow - Monitor work flow, production and quality. Ensure reports are worked timely. Respond to referrals, process difficult/unusual claims and may be required to respond to informal and formal complaints. Handle unusual or difficult telephone calls and written communication/correspondence.
Manage Procedures - Monitor compliance with policies and procedures, providing an annual review of the procedures.
Reviewing individual and team quality results, identify control strengths and weaknesses for the processes under direct supervision and formulate revisions to processes to enhance identified strengths and eliminate identified weaknesses; ensure that procedures are documented and updated as work processes change. Provide high level customer service.
Perform ongoing periodic reviews to ascertain the need for additional process enhancements due to changing environmental factors. Research and determine appropriate next-step actions to resolve issues; submit system change requests, assist in creating test plans and assist in performing system testing for new products, conversions, system enhancements, and other projects; perform and sign-off on User Acceptance Testing. Be prepared to identify and report potential issues involving system related problems.
