Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring all circulation billing activities and circulation collections activities are completed timely and accurately for all properties managed in the Shared Services Center.
What you will do:

Supervise the Circulation Billing Team within the Shared Services Center to ensure all circulation billings are completed timely and accurately

Manage the month end close process to ensure all circulation close activities are completed timely and accurately
-
Supervise the Single Copy Collections team within the Shared Services Center to ensure the timely collection of payments
-
Act as a subject matter expert in circulation billing process and systems
-
Assist in clearing reconciling items that may appear in circulation accounts, up to and including detailed account research
-
Provide customer service to key contacts at field location
-
Conduct monthly aging reviews with assigned team and business units
-
Responsible for establishing productivity and quality performance measurements, monitoring performance against established goals, and coaching employees on process improvements

Identify areas for process improvement and increased efficiency

Support Director of Accounting and Circulation Billing with special projects and reporting
What you will bring:

Ability to analyze and resolve problems using critical analysis with minimal supervision; expected to take initiative to refine procedures, notify senior management of potential issues, use tact and diplomacy in servicing the client, communicating with others and demonstrate ethical behavior at all times

Practical problem solving skills while dealing with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

Ability to communicate technical problems to the appropriate IT staff for system functionality issues and resolution

Demonstrated ability to create Excel spreadsheets using formulas as needed

Strong leader

Ability to read and comprehend written instructions (including process, policy and procedures manuals), correspondence and financial documents

Bachelor’s degree and a combination of college education and experience to enable successful performance in all aspects of the position
-
Five years of billing experience with two to three years of supervisory experience
Benefits and Compensation:
The annual salary range is $70,000 - $75,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, the Company offers eligible employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, as well as paid time off and select paid holidays (all benefits are based on eligibility).
