- Identify gaps in Best Business Practice Metrics (BBP’s), and then work with all levels of the BU in establishing and executing a strategy for improving them.
- Assess the current state of the plant’s value streams; develop future state vision and drive and monitor the implementation plan.
- Establishes C.I. Profit Plan and subsequent Forecast goals; Drives team to achieve for all plants.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop plants C.I. Roadmap, driving breakthrough or Best-in-Class performance that balances resources between internal efficiency and external customer-focused effectiveness projects through CI projects.
- Assist Operations Director in any strategic initiative that will help in compliance to standards, implementing new systems, and designing creative solutions that will continuously improve the plants.
- Provides technical leadership, training, mentoring, and coaching to MBB’s, CI Manager, Lean Six Sigma Black Belts, CI Practitioners or other personnel as part of their project management, executions and certifications in how to convert BBP gaps in performance into process improvement projects with breakthrough results.
- Collaborates with process owners, Leadership Institute and other MBBs to develop and evolve Six Sigma, Lean and KT training materials, classes, workshops, tools, and methods.
- Drive and sustain performance improvement to our Manufacturing System
- Supports development of Plant Long term Gap Closure Roadmaps & oversees Plan & Forecast CI targets & assumptions.
- Asses (2nd party), support the plan development, coach and training Plant Managers and Principal Champions on behaviors to implement and sustain Manufacturing Practices in order to get the Operational Excellence.
- Conduct regular progress reviews with Operations Director, Plant Managers, SME’s and Principal Champions to ensure Manufacturing System Gap closure targets.
