The Chief of Staff (CoS) is a key strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team, playing a pivotal role in driving company-wide initiatives, improving operational efficiencies, and facilitating effective communication and decision-making across the organization. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role where you will have the opportunity to influence and shape the future of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning & Execution
    • Support the CEO in developing, executing, and tracking key strategic initiatives.
    • Align cross-functional teams around strategic goals and ensure seamless execution of business priorities.
    • Track and report on company performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and progress on critical projects.
  2. Operational Efficiency & Optimization
    • Identify and implement processes to improve internal operations and streamline workflows.
    • Lead or coordinate initiatives aimed at driving operational excellence, increasing productivity, and scaling systems.
    • Oversee key projects that span multiple departments, ensuring they stay on track and meet deadlines.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Act as a liaison between the CEO and other leaders in the company to ensure alignment on priorities.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams, helping to break down silos and encourage a culture of transparency and efficiency.
    • Ensure that the leadership team has the necessary resources and support to meet their goals.
  4. Project Management
    • Manage high-priority strategic projects directly and through project teams.
    • Own the tracking, reporting, and accountability mechanisms for major company-wide initiatives.
    • Provide executive-level summaries and updates to keep stakeholders informed and aligned.
  5. CEO Support 
    • Act as a "right hand" to the CEO by handling operational matters and internal communications to allow them to focus on strategic and external activities.
    • Prepare the CEO for important meetings, presentations, and external engagements.
  6. Investor Relations and Board of Directors Preparation
    • Acting as liaison to investors and resolving their concerns/requests.
    • Generating board decks and driving content, including collecting data, research, and input from department heads. 
  7. Special Projects
    • Lead special projects or initiatives that are of strategic importance to the business.
    • Handle ad-hoc tasks and challenges as they arise, adapting quickly to changing priorities.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Team Orientation: A collaborative, team-focused mindset with a passion for building relationships and supporting high-performing teams.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience executing on strategic initiatives and delivering results.Proven track record of managing complex initiatives, ideally in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to solve complex business problems with creative and practical solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think long-term while balancing day-to-day operational needs.
  • Technology & Startup Experience: Familiarity with the challenges and fast pace of working at a tech startup is a plus.

Our base compensation for this position can range from $150,000 - $200,000. The actual amounts may vary based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities related to the position.
