We are looking for a strategic, hands-on Chief of Staff to report to and partner with the CEO.  As the Chief of Staff, you will represent a central hub, ensuring that the CEO's vision is effectively translated into actionable strategies across Gong. Your deep understanding of the business and organizational dynamics will provide insights in crafting and executing strategic initiatives. We prioritize hiring in our hubs, and although this role is remote and doesn’t have any in office requirements, we prefer they be within a reasonable distance to our New York or San Francisco offices. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with the CEO and executive team to define business priorities, drive execution of key initiatives, and create alignment between teams.
• Be a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team, elevating insights and analysis on company operations and key management decisions.
• Support the executive team in translating business strategy into priorities, and as needed, drive specific workstreams.
• Shape and manage the objectives and operating cadence of executive team meetings and executive strategic offsites – facilitating discussions on the right topics and managing follow-up on action items.
• Coordinate weekly senior leadership meeting to discuss the most critical metrics and topics in the business.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of experience in a technology-focused role, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth company demonstrating a track record of success and significant impact.
• Prior experience as a Chief of Staff to a senior executive (CEO, CTO, etc.) is a plus.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships while streamlining operations, and managing multiple projects: complex, cross-functional, and high-stakes.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, project management, and operational execution.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Thrive in a dynamic and demanding environment and have a passion for innovation and AI.
• Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and a continuous learning mindset.

The annual salary hiring range for this position is $275,000 - $315,000 USD. 

Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
