As we continue our global expansion, we are seeking a Chief Accountant to lead our accounting function, drive strategic decision-making, and support our continued success across North American markets.

You will manage the full-cycle accounting process, interact with American auditors, and directly influence the company's financial direction. Report to: Senior Leader of Finance and Accounting
Location: Remote within Ukraine
Your Impact and Key Responsibilities:
As our Chief Accountant, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring robust financial governance while driving the company’s success.
- Month-End Close: Oversee the end-to-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements, general ledger reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Financial Reporting: Maintain and prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in compliance with US GAAP.
- Audit Oversight: Lead internal control processes and liaise with external auditors to ensure efficient and effective financial audits.
- Cash Management: Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability and support continued growth.
- Tax Compliance: Oversee corporate income tax and sales tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate tax returns.
- M&A & Funding: Provide accounting support for due diligence activities in M&A transactions and funding rounds.
- Technology & Process Optimization: Drive automation and efficiency in financial reporting and internal accounting processes through advanced technology and ERP systems.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine accounting operations to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across the organization.
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Accountant who can scale our financial function while driving operational excellence.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree and/or CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification is preferred.
Professional Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of IFRS; US GAAP is a major plus.
- Experience in a global accounting environment, managing financial functions across multiple entities and regions.
- Solid grasp of revenue recognition principles, particularly in the tech sector.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365: Business Central or other ERP systems is a plus.
Key Skills & Abilities:
- Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to financial controls and operational improvements.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English (upper-intermediate level or above).
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with CFOs, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with cash management, tax planning, and audit oversight.
- Familiarity with international financial regulations, sales tax laws, and compliance practices.
Location flexibility: This is a remote position within Ukraine, with a preference for candidates who can occasionally work from our Kyiv office.

Work Structure & Collaboration
At Enavate, we embrace flexibility in how we work, but we also believe that collaboration is key to our success. Our office locations in Tampa, FL, Fargo, ND, and Kyiv, Ukraine are central to our culture and provide a hub for team interaction and innovation.
