Job Overview
The Chat Sales Development Representative to act as a liaison, allowing potential and existing customers to connect with our Sales teams via our website chat. Your primary role will be to seek new business opportunities by speaking with potential customers through our chat functionality. There will also be opportunities to work within other areas of the Sales Development Team – following up on Marketing leads, calling into our customer base to schedule consultation meetings, etc.). You will be responsible for qualifying potential opportunities for Sales.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication and technology skills to provide quick, professional and informative responses to potential customers and that will help drive them into the buying cycle.
Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.
This is a hybrid position, with 3 days per week in our Nashua, NH headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Qualify leads from the Rightworks chat for the Sales organization

Potential to work cross functionally within the SDR Team (following up on Marketing leads, cold calling into customer base, etc.)

Contact potential clients through follow-up calls and emails

Present our company to current and potential clients

Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services

Build long-term trusting relationships with clients

Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and the Sales teams

Set meetings for current clients with the sales teams throughout the company

Disposition leads generated and assign to the proper sales team where needed

Report to the Sales Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results

Stay up to date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Requirements

Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative

Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)

Track record of achieving sales quotas

Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)

Experience with cadence software (e.g. SalesLoft, Outreach, Groove)

Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)

Understanding of sales performance metrics

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Ability to deliver engaging presentations

Prior use of website chat services or familiarity with such services
