You will join the Analysis and Characterizations group within the Product Design Engineering team to support the development and optimization of characterization techniques. Your main responsibilities will include organizing and leading the development of new analytical methods and contributing to the optimization of existing ones within the Material Science division with a focus on X-rays characterization techniques. Ultimately, your work will play a key role in designing the highest-quality lithium-ion batteries for production at Verkor.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee activities and instruments within the Material Science division, focusing on tomography and X-ray diffraction (XRD).
- Participate in the integration and ramp-up of a tomography scanner.
- Organize method development and analysis, focusing on tomography and XRD.
- Contribute to laboratory analyses and provide operational support to technicians.
- Provide support for other morphological and structural characterization. techniques, including powder analysis and SEM/EDX.
- Assist with standardization processes and methodologies, including protocols, work instructions, and method lifecycle management.
- Report results and activities within the scope to the An&Char group leader
Requirements :
- min BAC+5 with a specialization in Materials Science.
- Experience in inorganic materials morphological/structural and/or powders analysis techniques.
- Experience in tomography, and/or X-ray diffraction and/or microscopy is a strong plus.
- Experience in lithium-ion cell manufacturing is a plus.
- Knowledge in lithium-ion batteries and material for lithium-ion batteries is a strong plus.
- Strong taste for practical work in the laboratory.
- Good knowledge of health, safety and environment good practices in a laboratory. Soft skills o Great communication and proactivity.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Autonomy, rigor and organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good reporting capacity (standards, procedures, results reports).
- English: good understanding both oral and writing is a minimum.
