Position Description
PIMCO is seeking an experienced Channel Marketing Manager to partner with the Global Wealth Management and Institutional client-facing teams in Singapore to develop and execute effective marketing programs to achieve business objectives. Responsibilities will require collaboration with the broader APAC and Global Marketing teams to work on strategic initiatives and campaigns to drive the firm’s growth in the region, particularly for Singapore and Southeast Asia. The Channel Marketing Manager will work closely with multiple stakeholders, including senior management level investment professionals, and with external vendors, where necessary.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-impact marketing strategies and execute integrated marketing campaigns – leveraging all marketing platforms (events, digital, social) and paid media to achieve measurable business objectives
- Produce and localize marketing collateral intended for Singapore and the Southeast Asian markets, including managing translations and developing relevant formats; examples of collateral include thought leadership content, fund factsheets, fund commentaries, fund flyers/brochures, webcasts/videos, website content and client communications
- Develop and execute the channel’s conference & events strategy, including managing external vendors, venue-sourcing, managing invitations and registrations, and providing onsite support
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Account Management teams to facilitate communication, proactively identify opportunities and challenges, and support execution of client initiatives
- Gather, analyze and report metrics for marketing activities; prepare campaign and post-event reports, and deliver actionable recommendations based on findings, where required
- Assist with other marketing projects and activities to help drive business results, as required
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or business-related disciplines
- Professional qualification (CFA, CAIA) a plus
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in wholesale/intermediary and institutional marketing in the asset management industry in Asia, ideally with an understanding of Singapore and the Southeast Asian markets
- Demonstrated record of success in partnering with client-facing teams in acquiring and retaining clients and assets through execution of integrated marketing programs
- Proven ability to interpret and communicate financial concepts both verbally and in writing
