The Channel Account Executive role is responsible for developing Promethean sales with a partner or group of Partners. This role will be responsible for the development and management of the relationship with the Partners, ensuring that they are educated on the nature and benefits of Promethean’s offerings, and are enabled and motivated to buy and promote Promethean solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility as the primary Promethean point of contact for the relationship with your Partners
  • Develop business with new and existing partners and identify areas of improvement to meet agreed targets
  • Develop, maintain, and grow sales prospects and new opportunities with new and current Partners in the region with the purpose of increasing revenue, margin, and market share
  • Be able to articulate the Promethean value proposition and demonstrate the benefits of Promethean solutions either face to face or remotely or both
  • Develop a territory management plan and build a pipeline of opportunities in the territory guided by sales leadership
  • Take direct responsibility of channel pipeline managed with distributors
  • Help the Marketing department on activities to drive revenue from an assigned region
  • Build and maintain strong long-lasting Partner relationships
  • Plan for and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews with owned channel partners in line with channel accreditation
  • Forecast and track key account metrics including pipeline management, pricing actions, demonstration activity, marketing activity, sales reporting, competitive activity etc.
  • Identify regional gaps from sales data and review with sales leaders to help target and develop new business contributing to overall market share
  • Identify and understand relevant market initiatives and available funding streams to support the development of partner sales plans
  • Ensure channel Partners have the right sales tools to win business with Promethean
  • Use a range of data to support analytical decision making that will develop the Promethean Sales Channel
  • Manage regular face to face or remote meetings with Partners including Product Training, Pipeline Updates, Commercial Discussions
  • Support Partners to engage with Promethean training including Promethean Certified Installer Training
  • Work across teams to deliver high quality outcomes for Partners including Marketing and Product Management

Requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years of selling experience in either the education or technology markets
  • Degree level preferred but not essential
  • Experience of selling through a distribution channel
  • Knowledge of the education market
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills and can work with resellers, educators, and decision makers
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to work with numbers
  • Knowledge of salesforce.com CRM system
  • Attendance at key Events
  • Travel is required, including overnight stays

Base Range: 44,000 – 66,000 + Commission Eligible
