We have a very exciting opportunity for you to become our Global Market Access (GMA) Certification Program Specialist located in European region (Denmark, Germany, Italy or Poland)! This role would be a hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home).
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the GMA Certification Program Specialist will play an important role focused on coordinating and optimizing specific business processes related to the testing laboratories in our product certification schemes. The primary responsibility of the GMA Certification Program Specialist is to ensure processes under their accountability are efficient, effective and aligned with the overall organization goals, strategies and key initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process coordination: Take accountability for specific global scheme processes and drive these with the highest quality.
    • Act as Certification Body (CB) Representative in the European Region for Testing Laboratory support (program expansion and maintenance).
    • Assist/participate in different types of IECEE assessments and provide guidance throughout the application/assessment process.
    • Conduct annual assessments and pre-assessments on behalf of UL.
    • Assist Certification Body Testing Laboratories in resolving non-conformances resulting from different types of IECEE/NCB assessments and Proficiency Testing Programs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders at various levels to understand their process requirements and gather feedback. Engage with stakeholders to drive process adoption, manage expectations, and communicate process changes or updates.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure process performance and effectiveness.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with relevant organizational stakeholders for integration and standardization of processes. Share best practices and drive a cohesive approach to business process management.
  • Governance and Compliance: Support in the development and implementation of operational frameworks to ensure adherence to policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Electronics or Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management or related).
  • 2-3 years of experience as Assessor for Quality Management Systems or Product Certification (ISO 9001/ ISO 17065 or ISO 17021).
  • Experience in process management, process improvement, or business process reengineering.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process gaps and recommend effective solutions.
  • Strong business process management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong command of English language is a must have; other European languages like Danish, German, Italian or Polish are a plus.
  • Travel willingness up to 25%.
