We have a very exciting opportunity for you to become our Global Market Access (GMA) Certification Program Specialist located in European region (Denmark, Germany, Italy or Poland)! This role would be a hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home).
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the GMA Certification Program Specialist will play an important role focused on managing, coordinating, and optimizing specific business processes related to the testing laboratories in our product certification schemes. The primary responsibility of the GMA Certification Program Specialist is to ensure processes under their accountability are efficient, effective and aligned with the overall organization goals, strategies and key initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • End to end process coordination: Takes accountability for specific global scheme processes and drives these with the highest quality.
    • Acts as Certification Body (CB) Representative in the European Region for Testing Laboratory support (program expansion and maintenance).
    • Assists/participates in different types of IECEE assessments and provides guidance throughout the application/assessment process.
    • Conducts annual assessments and pre-assessments on behalf of UL.
    • Assists Certification Body Testing Laboratories in resolving non-conformances resulting from different types of IECEE/NCB assessments and Proficiency Testing Programs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Builds strong relationships and collaborates with stakeholders at various levels to understand their process requirements and gather feedback. Engages with stakeholders to drive process adoption, manage expectations, and communicate process changes or updates.
  • Performance Measurement: Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure process performance and effectiveness.
  • Continuous Improvement: Encourages innovation and explore new technologies or approaches to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness. Provides guidance and training in program requirements, general operation, development, etc. Oversees, distributes and helps implement any changes or decisions made in relevant IECEE rules, e.g. IECEE ODs/Current Decisions, Client Testing Laboratory Decision Sheets and so on.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborates with relevant organizational stakeholders for integration and standardization of processes. Shares best practices and drives a cohesive approach to business process management.
  • Governance and Compliance: Supports in the developments and implementation of operational frameworks to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Electronics or Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management or related).
  • Ideally 5-7 years of experience as a Lead Assessor for Quality Management Systems or Product Certification (ISO 9001/ ISO 17065 or ISO 17021).
  • Experience in process management, process improvement, or business process reengineering.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process gaps and recommend effective solutions.
  • Strong business process management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong command of English language is a must have; other European languages like Danish, German, Italian or Polish are a plus.
  • Travel willingness up to 25%.
