Central PMO Office - Program Manager

Location: Boston, MA office- Hybrid

PTC is currently seeking a bright, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Program Manager to join the Central Program & Project Management Office and provide best-in-class, project management services on the company’s most strategic initiatives that will support PTC’s growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with executive leadership to define program & project strategy and ensure strategy can be translated into execution plans.
  • Lead, manage and organize cross-functional teams to frame program & project execution from scoping and planning through successful program & project completion
  • Demonstrate sound decision making through data driven program & project status reports and dashboards
  • Build effective teams by establishing clear project goals, well-defined roles, open communication, and an overall positive atmosphere
  • Apply tools, templates, and best practice methodologies to support agile approaches to program & project execution and oversight
  • Coordinates activities and resources across multiple programs and supporting projects.
  • Identifies, manages, and documents risks associated with the program & projects and communicates them to the program and project teams, escalating to upper management when necessary.
  • Provides guidance on program & project management processes, industry best practices and innovation within the program and project teams.
  • Creates, manages and updates execution and value roadmaps throughout program & project lifecycle to regularly measure the benefits gained by the program & project.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5-10 years of professional experience managing cross-functional transformation programs & projects
  • Action oriented with a sense of urgency and committed to driving quality results
  • Able to effectively deal with, and manage ambiguity
  • Knowledge/experience of Program/Project Management (PMBOK) methodology
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead and influence others at all levels, including peers through senior management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge/experience of basic Agile and Scrum frameworks
  • Knowledge/experience of Hybrid methodologies
  • Knowledge/experience of Change Management frameworks
  • Knowledge/experience of AI driven insights for PMO process optimization
  • Understanding of go-to-market processes, including sales strategies, marketing and product launch
  • PMP certification (optional)
