Client Computing Group (CCG) is primarily known as Intel's PC business. You will be defining and bringing to reality solutions that delight customers and grow Intel's business. Your day-to-day deliverables will have a common objective: making it easier, faster and cheaper to innovate with Intel Architecture. In this position you will be responsible for providing package and platform power integrity solution for Intel client products. You will also be required to architect package and board power integrity solution such as voltage rail merging and isolation scheme, stack up and decoupling cap type and to provide design constraints for and guide implementation of component packages and boards to meet design targets.
You will also be focusing on design processes, techniques including electrical model extraction, development and simulation from Direct Current (DC) to high frequency component on full system power delivery network. End goal is to deliver optimized platform electrical solution within the boundary condition followed by design validation and correlation for continuous methodology enhancement.
Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.
Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

Minimum of 1 year of experience as an electrical design engineer: either silicon, package or board level design.

Familiar with electrical simulation software such as Sigrity, PowerSI, PowerDC, HSpice, and/or Matlab.

Familiar with package and board CAD tools such as Cadence Allegro and/or Mentor Graphics.

Intermediate to advanced English communication skills (written and oral).
Preferred Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of electrical simulation software use such as Sigrity PowerSI, PowerDC, HSpice, Matlab.

Minimum of 1 year of experience as Power Integrity or Power delivery engineer on the PC business environment.
