Job Description

North 40 Outfitters in Great Falls, MT is looking to hire a Full-Time Category Marketing Specialist for Farm & Ranch to join our team. We believe that each team member plays a vital role in the success of our company. We are looking for authentic and enthusiastic people who love our lifestyle and believe in service before self. As a Category Marketing Specialist for Farm & Ranch at North 40, you play a key role in the overall customer experience by using your robust knowledge to groom and improve the digital presence and product catalog in the Farm and Ranch categories. This position connects our purchasing and marketing teams by identifying new orders and seasonal sales priorities for the Farm and Ranch category. The Farm and Ranch Specialist ensures that the necessary product information and merchandising is deployed on north40.com to feature these products in all web promotions. 

This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm. This shift can include working weekends and certain holidays and will require flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • Ability to take the initiative, embrace change, and learn new things
  • Drive to be dependable, and to perform well against the expectations of the role
  • Responsible for timely publication of items to the web
  • Enhance product pages by gathering required data requirements (I.e., images, descriptions, attributes, videos, taxonomy) by:
    • Working directly with the brand partners to increase product imagery, enhance copy and leverage brand content
    • Creating unique product descriptions
    • Matching product photos or taking new product photography following guidelines
    • Coordinating the remainder of products through the vendor or a third party to execute
    • Uploading data to product information system
  • Merchandise categories to bring focus and excitement to both new and core items.
  • Build optimized brand pages to support new and existing brands
  • Maintains close relationships with the Category Manager to prioritize items and brands to meet sales goals
  • Identifies areas of opportunity within the category through use of sales reporting tools, Google Analytics, and HubSpot
  • Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques. Physical ability to lift and carry 0-10 lbs. continuously, 10-25 lbs. frequently, and 25-55 lbs. occasionally, and team lift anything over 55 lbs.
