Category Manager DACH (d/f/m)

For our Category Management department, we are looking for a Category Manager DACH (d/f/m) to support our team as soon as possible.
As a Category Manager DACH (d/f/m), you will develop category plans and implement category management activities with the goal of generating category growth. You act as an interface between sales and marketing and represent their function in multifunctional teams. In this position, you report to the Lead Category Management DACH.
Your Role

Identification of customer and category potentials based on qualitative and quantitative trade, shopper, and consumer insights

Conducting analyses and deriving recommendations based on category insights to improve business results

Create plans and implement category vision and channel strategy for responsible category

Driving Net Revenue Management (NRM) initiatives to enhance profitability through optimized pricing, promotions, and product mix.

Development and implementation of category management activities including assortment plans and placement concepts in close cooperation with our trade partners

Contributing in best practice exchange, networking, and projects

Completed university degree or equivalent qualification

Experience in the areas of category management, shopper marketing, (customer) marketing, sales, or in a comparable position with a strong understanding of customers, shoppers, and consumers

Confident handling of market data, consumer panels, and POS sales data

Advanced strategic and analytical skills
-
Effective communication
-
Proficiency in Power-BI is a plus
