Job Description

As a Cataloguing Data Specialist, you will play a key role in managing, analyzing, and optimizing product cataloguing data for our own brands (Wolf, Champion) and private labels. You will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of product data across various internal and external systems, directly contributing to the value we offer our customers.



Your main responsibilities

  • Maintain and update product and cataloguing data across multiple databases (LIS, PIM, ADMIN, TecDoc, X-checker, etc.).
  • Analyze data across different systems to identify discrepancies and ensure consistency, primarily using Excel.
  • Optimize cataloguing processes and streamline data flows from our internal systems to various other systems, such as websites, platforms, and customer portals, ...
  • Support regular data update processes, ensuring timely execution.
  • Ensure top-quality cataloguing product data, making it adaptable to customer needs and automotive industry standards.
  • Provide data-driven insights and reports to support both the Product and Marketing teams.
  • Develop and implement data management procedures to ensure data quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with database administrators and internal stakeholders to maintain and improve data integrity.
  • Act as a backup for product data specialists and and take on growing responsibilities for (sub)projects within the Product Cataloguing processes, allowing you to expand your expertise and impact over time.

Qualifications

  • Higher degree or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience in data management, preferably in automotive and/or chemical sector.
  • Analytical mindset with high attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Process-oriented and problem-solving skills to optimize workflows and improve data flows.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data cleaning, analysis).
  • Knowledge of Access DB (loading tables, basic queries) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cataloguing data systems such as PIM, TecDoc, or X-checker is a plus.
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Able to work independently while effectively collaborating across teams.
