Job Overview:

The Cash Management Senior Operations Specialist is responsible for the processing of money movement of cash and/or assets related to retirement accounts including but not limited to Wires, ACHs, Check Disbursements and Check Deposits. This role assists with complex escalations to ensures the policies and procedures regarding the movement of assets and securities are followed and escalates appropriately.  Additionally, this role is key to the training of new associates to ensure they are prepared to process move money request accurately and efficiently.  When collaborating with internal business partners and advisors, this role delivers an exceptional experience possible through operational and service excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, prepare and process advisor/end investor incoming and outgoing move money activity timely and accurately while adhering to policy and procedures
  • Understanding of Retirement rules and regulations related to distributions and contributions, along with a knowledge of Required Minimum Distributions
  • Effectively manage and evaluate risk when reviewing move money request including check request, check deposits, ACH, Journals and Wires
  • Facilitate the training of new team members using multiple methods to include updated training guides, shadowing and on going processing support
  • Handles high level/complex escalations by understanding the request, taking appropriate action and providing rational to resolve while keeping management informed
  • Assist in process improvement efforts to help identify new and better way to do things
  • Proactively education internal business partners and advisors on products and processes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with team on implementation

Requirements:

  • One to two years general brokerage industry knowledge experience
  • One to two years banking/retirement industry knowledge and experience
  • Microsoft Office products

  • BETA Knowledge

Pay Range:

$16.73-$27.88/hour


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
