Comptable, Responsable des transactions en espèces
Le Comptable, Responsable des transactions en espèces est chargé d'apporter un soutien direct à l'équipe comptable et à l'équipe de facturation en ce qui concerne les responsabilités quotidiennes en matière de comptes débiteurs et de responsabilités en matière des espèces. Responsabilités principales :
- Aider l'équipe A/R et l'équipe de facturation à appliquer les encaissements et à enquêter sur tout écart.
- Procéder à l'annulation des retenues à la source et des créances irrécouvrables.
- Enregistrez les paiements mensuels et les encaissements non A/R dans le système, y compris les encaissements dans différentes devises.
- Aider à la réconciliation des activités bancaires quotidiennes.
- Aider à rassembler les justificatifs d'encaissement pour l'audit externe.
- Participer à d'autres activités comptables quotidiennes.
- Aider l'équipe à compiler des informations pour des projets spéciaux.
- Collaborer et coordonner étroitement avec d'autres équipes interfonctionnelles.
Exigences minimales :
- Baccalauréat en comptabilité ou équivalent
- 2 à 4 ans d'expérience dans un rôle similaire
- Bonne compréhension des principes de base de la comptabilité
- Doit être capable de saisir des données de manière précise et complète, avec un grand souci du détail.
Exigences souhaitées :
- Capacité à identifier les erreurs et à prendre des mesures pour les corriger immédiatement
- Une bonne connaissance des différentes devises et de leur impact sur le marché (FX) est un atout.
- Organisé et ayant de solides compétences en matière de gestion du temps
- Capacité à travailler à partir d'un bureau à domicile et à respecter des délais serrés.
- Prendre l'initiative et être responsable
- Solides compétences en matière de relations interpersonnelles et de communication
- Solide connaissance de Microsoft Word et Excel
- Expérience antérieure avec un logiciel de comptabilité avancé, connaissance de Workday Financials un plus.
The Cash Accountant is responsible for providing direct support to the accounting team and billing team in the daily accounts receivable and cash responsibilities. This person must also have a proven ability to record detailed information with a high level of accuracy. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic individual to put their skills to work in a challenging but fun environment
This position is open to candidates who have their residence in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This role is hybrid (office in Montreal where you would go to +/- 1-2 days/week).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the A/R and billing teams with the application of cash receipts and investigating any discrepancies.
- Process write offs for any withholding tax and bad debt.
- Record the monthly payments and non A/R cash receipts in the system including receipts in different currencies.
- Assist in reconciling daily bank activity.
- Assist in gathering cash receipt support for external audit.
- Assist with other day to day accounting activities
- Assist team with compiling information for special projects.
- Closely collaborate and coordinate with other cross functional teams.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor in Accounting or equivalent
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong comprehension of accounting basics
- Must be able to enter data in an accurate and complete manner, with high attention to detail
Preferred Requirements:
- Ability to identify errors and take action to correct errors immediately
- Familiarity with different currencies and fx impact is a plus
- Organized and strong time management skills
- Ability to work from remote home office and under tight deadlines
- Takes initiative and ownership
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Previous experience with advanced accounting software, knowledge of Workday Financials a plus.
- English fluent as it is our corporate language
