To promote the success of Expeditors by directing the Company’s financial affairs, within a framework of prudent and effective controls, which enable risk to be assessed and managed through focus on Finances, Operations, People, Customers, Systems, Culture and Compliance in adherence to the company’s policy and procedures.

Requisitos
Major Tasks & Responsibilities:
Finance:
- Lead the team of Country Controllers for CAS Region (Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Argentina and Uruguay), including management activities (performance evaluations, administrative approvals, etc)
- Support CAS RVP with any required financial report or analysis.
- Lead regional projects aiming to obtain efficiencies through standardization, simplification and processes optimization.
- Oversee all tax and financial regulatory compliance issues including the preparation and submission of information to statutory authorities.
- Oversee Internal Controls compliance in all CAS Countries.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities and drive initiatives to promote efficient and cost effective operations.
- Drive Operational Accounting Excellence in the CAS Region.
- Participate in decisions regarding financial strategy and business operations execution.
- Provide financial and accounting expertiese and support local teams in every CAS country.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of financial policies and procedures.
Compliance:
- Oversee internal controls over financial reporting for the CAS Region.
- Promote a culture of compliance with Company policies and government regulations.
- Serve as a role model and leader in the demonstration of ethical business practices and conduct.
- Proactively communicate with his/her team to ensure continuous awareness and understanding of policies and regulations.
Culture:

Skills:
- Advanced in Microsoft Office, including Excel Formulas and Pivot Tables.
- Knowledge of Power BI.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills with an attention to the details.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to financial persons aswell as non-financial persons at all levels from Operations to Senior Management.
- Proven leadership attitude and skills.
- Ability to drive and lead through change.
- Experience in compliance and internal controls.
- Prefereably experience in managing Finance departments in multiple countries within Latam region.

Candidate requirements:
- Relevant bachelor's or master's degree plus CPA (or equivalent)
- Proven and strong experience as a Financial Controller
- 15 + years of Accounting and Finance experience (prefereably in the Global Logistics Industry).
- US GAAP experience (highly desirable).
- Full spectrum of accounting and finance experience.
- High level of tax and regulatory knowledge in Latam countries.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Based in any of CAS countries.
