Are you passionate about capital markets and eager to make an impact in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment? We are seeking a Capital Markets Associate to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in investment banking, leveraged finance, or credit investing to drive meaningful contributions to our business development, credit analysis, and investor relations initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fundamental analysis and due diligence to support investment decisions.
  • Provide credit market reviews and insights, helping guide strategic planning and investor communications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors, contributing to a robust network of capital sources.
  • Support identifying and originating new investment opportunities with investors.
  • Lead aspects of the business development process, including industry and market research to identify new opportunities.
  • Actively participate in Capital team discussions, investment committee meetings, and presentations to external investors.
  • Support deal origination and qualification, collaborating with key business units across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, private credit, or other relevant fields.
  • Deep understanding of the capital raising and M&A process, with a demonstrated track record of deal origination and/or execution experience.
  • Strong credit and equity securities analysis skills, including expertise in financial modeling and the ability to assess a wide range of credit and equity opportunities.
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to take initiative.
  • Knowledge of various debt structures and deal execution in both public and private markets is a significant plus.
  • Experience working with high-growth start-ups or holding companies is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on collaboration and driving results.
