WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: TSTC is seeking a full- time Case Study Manager with Secret Clearance to provide research services for one of TSTC’s premier DHS clients. The successful candidate must have experience performing deep dive analysis and research into capabilities, identify gaps, conduct feasibility studies, and be able to identify and recommend potential courses of actions to close the gap that are evaluated against predetermined Agency criteria. The ideal candidate will have experience with performing case study analysis and be able to develop Case Analysis Study Plans (CASP) and Case Analysis Reports (CAR) for the federal government.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, and can articulate analysis methods and results in well formulated and formatted reports for multiple stakeholder audiences.

What You'll Do

  • Work closely with the Federal Government Lead
  • Report risks and risk mitigation strategies associated with planning, analysis, and reporting
  • Provide research writing of detailed Capability analysis Study Plans and Capability Analysis Reports on a variety of topics and coordinating case study working groups.
  • Review, analyze and evaluate processes to determine optimal courses of action to address capability gaps and formulate the processes to parallel overall business strategies.
  • Work closely with the Government and SME’s to facilitate and support case study working groups. 
  • Provide case study working group scheduling and coordination support, and development and maintenance of documentation (agendas, schedules, presentation decks, meeting minutes) to the working group.
  • Participate in relevant work group meetings or any other events that supports the organization’s defined mission capabilities needs process.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify risk mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct critical analysis on multiple topics and data sets, draw conclusions, and provide results and recommendations.
  • Respond to daily, monthly, quarterly and annual data calls as required.
  • Other tasks as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • Eight years of relevant experience in conducting gap analyses and case studies or other related research and analysis activities.
  • BA / BS Degree from an accredited College or University
  • Minimum of Secret clearance is required. Cleared candidates with a current DHS and/or TSA badge will be evaluated higher.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and MS Project and MS Visio.
  • Understanding of DHS and DOD Acquisition Processes or the Joint Requirements Integration Management System is a plus.
  • Commitment to providing the best service and solutions possible to meet our client’s mission needs.
  • Ability to work on a flexible schedule and potentially more than 40 hours in a week when required to meet client deliverables / timelines.

Security Clearance and Where You Will Work

  • Applicants selected must be a U.S. Citizen. A government security clearance (minimum active Secret) is required for this position and the successful candidate must pass both a company and client comprehensive background check.
  • This is a hybrid role. The in person location is in Springfield, VA with convenient access to Metro.
