About the role:
Kong is seeking a Campaign Operations Manager to join our Revenue Operations team. In this role, you will serve as a critical operational partner to Kong’s Top-of-Funnel (TOFU) teams, including Marketing, Partner, Product, and Sales Development Representative (SDR) organizations. This position is pivotal in driving the organization, execution, and scalability of mass-messaging campaigns by blending project management and marketing automation expertise. You will ensure campaigns are executed with efficiency, quality, and repeatability. Stakeholders will rely on your expertise to add value through effective campaign execution.
Responsibilities:
- Email Campaign Execution: Set up and deploy high-quality email campaigns, ensuring excellent targeting, deliverability, engagement rates, and consistent execution.
- List Management & Segmentation: Build and manage targeted, segmented email lists to drive personalized and relevant content that resonates with recipients.
- Lead Nurturing & Funnel Optimization: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement nurture programs that guide leads effectively through the sales funnel. Focus on optimizing messaging cadence to prevent audience fatigue.
- Digital Asset Creation: Create and configure key digital assets, including landing pages and forms, utilizing CMS, Marketing Automation Platforms, and other related technologies.
- Campaign Integration & Tracking: Ensure seamless integration between campaign tools and tracking systems for accurate performance measurement, including supporting third-party event integrations (e.g., webinars).
- Lead List Management: Import and manage lead lists with precision, ensuring data integrity across all marketing channels.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders and external vendors to oversee campaign setup, asset creation, and timely deliverables, ensuring all project milestones are met.
- Project Coordination: Proactively engage with stakeholders to define campaign scope, set clear timelines, and manage cross-functional team efforts to mitigate resource conflicts and ensure smooth execution.
- Third-Party Event Integration: Process and integrate leads generated through external events into internal systems to maintain a continuous flow of high-quality leads.
- Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to stakeholders, analyzing campaign performance, metrics, and offering actionable insights to drive ongoing campaign improvement.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-6 years in campaign operations, marketing automation, or similar roles.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders across different teams.
- Analytical Ability: Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions and optimize campaign performance.
- Bonus: Experience in high-growth startup environments is a plus.
- The ideal candidate must be open to working flexible hours across different time zones.
- This opportunity is hybrid with 3 days in office and 2 days work from home.
