AccuWeather is seeking one (1) Buyer-AP Specialist. This position will report to the Controller.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Procurement:
Vendor Management:

• Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers for materials or services.
• Evaluating vendor performance to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
• Maintaining and updating vendor records in CRM

Purchase Orders:

• Creating and managing purchase orders in alignment with company policies.
• Ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

Inventory Management:

• Monitoring inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Coordinating with contract manufacturer and part suppliers.

Cost Control:

• Identifying cost-saving opportunities in procurement processes.
• Ensuring the best value for company expenditures.

Skills and Qualifications:
Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

• Experience in procurement and accounts payable processes.
• Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of purchasing and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
