The Virgin Voyages Business Systems Support Lead will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into effective systems and technology solutions. Will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure business needs are met while driving process improvements and system optimizations. The Business Systems Systems Lead will possess strong technical expertise and the ability to navigate complex business challenges. You will also collaborate with both managers and analysts to ensure alignment and successful execution of business objectives.

This gig is based at VVHQ - our swanky Virgin Voyages Head Office in Plantation, FL where we follow a hybrid work environment. We can't wait to 'sea' you in person during our Collaboration Days, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, while you enjoy Mondays and Fridays' as remote days.

What You'll Be Up To:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact between business units and IT teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

  • Oversee the development of system specifications, process flows, and functional requirements to ensure alignment with business goals.

  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to gather and clarify business requirements and ensure solutions meet user needs.

  • Analyze current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement, recommending new solutions or enhancements.

  • Lead efforts in the testing, and implementation of system changes and improvements.

  • Ensure that project deliverables are on time, within scope, and meet quality standards..

  • Train and mentor junior analysts, providing ongoing support and development opportunities.

  • Manage project timelines, and resources as needed.

  • Conduct data analysis and reporting to assess system performance and recommend improvements.

  • Provide leadership in troubleshooting issues, resolving conflicts, and making decisions to ensure project success.


SuperPowers Required:

  • College degree or equivalent

  • Experience with business process mapping and implementation of IT solutions.

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines while setting appropriate expectations.

  • Travel or hospitality web/reservation system experience preferred.

  • 5+ years in business systems analysis, with experience working closely with analysts and serving as a point of contact between management and team members.

  • 5+ years of Seaware experience.

  • Resilient with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and strong influencing skills.

  • Enjoys working with diverse teams and bringing a positive, energetic attitude.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as an excellent team player.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Project management skills are a plus.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.

  • Knowledge of databases, software development, and systems integration..

  • Familiarity with data analytics and change management principles.
