Job Summary

The Business Systems Analyst will be working closely with stakeholders and developers to further evaluate existing business processes with the goal to build on the existing ERP solution. The main objective is to automate, integrate, create efficiencies, and improve data quality throughout the business.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborates with all stakeholders throughout the organization to collect detailed business requirements, understand business objectives, and document processes.
  • Supports the Administration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations for US and European Operations.
  • Plans, designs, and executes approved configuration changes.
  • Maximize the use of standard application functionality to prevent or keep customizations at low levels.
  • Prepares business requirement documents for approved customizations including those related to integration processes.
  • Prepares training documents, conducts training sessions, and ensures concepts are transmitted clearly.
  • Conducts acceptance testing and secures approvals as needed.
  • Leads meetings with functional, technical, and end users.
  • Troubleshoots critical and complex issues, finds root causes, and drives solutions in an adequate time frame.
  • Configures and maintains Management Reporter reports as well as Tableau reports.
  • Monitors system performance and resource utilization.
  • Assist developers and business departments with design, function, testing, and delivery.
  • Provide system support including D365, TMS, and other applications.
  • Special projects as needed.

CompetencyEducation:  

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, or Management Information Systems; MBA desirable

Skills & Experience:

  • 3-7 years of experience in a Business Analyst capacity
  • ERP experience with Dynamics 365, F&O
  • Experience in the cruise industry is preferred
  • Experience in supporting Finance & Accounting functions and ERP modules
  • Direct experience in Finance roles and knowledge/studies in Finance are a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent ability to document processes and proposed solutions
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent organization and follow-through skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness
  • Flexible, adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment
  • Autonomous and independent worker
  • Self-starter, able to function with little supervision, high-energy
