Business Systems Analist

We are looking for a Business Analyst for Bingel.  You’ll be working on the most exciting and innovative learning platform for primary education.  Our adaptive all-round platform put teachers and pupils central. Bingel assists the teacher in achieving his or her main goal: getting the best learning outcomes for each pupil. Its different modules support the teacher not only by offering the best quality teaching materials, but also by offering a range of time-saving solutions on planning, preparing, coaching and assessing. Pupils in Belgium, Finland, Sweden and the Netherlands love Bingel as their gamified learning platform for every-day use.

The role of the Business Analyst is a key position with interesting and challenging tasks and excellent opportunities for professional growth. You will be part of a highly professional and experienced international team in an open and informal setting, where initiative is expected and rewarded. The working environment is result-oriented as well as flexible with a focus on collaboration. 

Hybrid way of work - we'll ask you to visit our office in Den Bosch, NL once a week to work together with the team.

As a Business Analyst, you will:

• investigate the needs and wants of the organization and the team and translate these into clear functional requirements and appropriate solutions.

• clarify the impact of changes within the entire application and coordinate these with the various stakeholders and users.

• capture the requirements from the PO, understanding the needs of users and the product.

• work in a structured way with UML diagrams, reading and analyzing them.

• play a key role in the overall software development process by designing, defining and documenting functional and technical requirements.

• Receive information about production errors and assist in solving them together with Product Owners, Managers and Development Teams.

• be a part of technical discussions with Development Teams.

What you're bringing:

• At least 4 years of relevant work experience as a system/functional/technical analyst;

• Analytical mind, easily coming up with solutions, proactive;

• Practical knowledge/understanding of UML and ability to read UML diagrams;

• Ability to translate technical requirements and work with them;

• Great communication skills with development teams or Service Managers;

• Experience working in Agile / Scrum / SAFe environment;

• Dutch speaker;

• Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written;

• Experience working with Jira/Confluence/Miro;
