Position Overview
We’re looking for a Business Solutions Specialist specialized in the Atlassian suite to enhance our internal workflows and business processes. This role connects technical expertise with business needs, designing and implementing solutions that maximize our team’s productivity and collaboration.
Success in this role will focus on three key areas: business process mapping and design, Atlassian and tooling administration, and training, presentation, and communication to drive adoption.
You will work closely with members of the Senior Leadership Team and People Leaders to help create efficiencies in their team processes and drive adoption of the Atlassian Suite within their teams and across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify optimization opportunities
- Design and implement solutions using our technology stack, with primary focus on Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, JSM, Tempo)
- Integrate systems across platforms including Salesforce, Slack, BambooHR, and Kantata
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, propose solutions, and secure buy-in
- Develop and deliver training to ensure successful adoption of new processes
- Create documentation and knowledge base articles for ongoing reference
- Monitor compliance with established processes and recommend improvements
- Serve as the primary administrator for our Atlassian applications
Qualifications and Competencies
- 3+ years experience administering and customizing Atlassian products
- Strong business process analysis skills with experience mapping workflows
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience with workflow automation tools (Automation for Jira, Zapier, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex ideas clearly
- Training experience and ability to create compelling documentation
- Self-directed work style with strong project management capabilities
- Experience with other business systems (Salesforce, Slack, etc.) preferred
