Overview
The Business Solutions Architect is responsible in providing support in two key areas:

With a business focus, ensure that the solution meets with the business requirements.
-
With an enterprise focus, ensure that the enterprise requirements for reuse, compliance to standards, principles, traceability to enterprise reference models, and alignment with the target enterprise architecture vision.

This role reports to the Business Solution Manager. Other key responsibilities are as detailed below:
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Produce architectural designs, and review requirement specifications and interface specifications.
-
Utilize SOA framework to standardize and simplify integration.
-
Analyze changes & impact on existing systems of proposed solutions.

Decision on the Technical Approach to be used to address systems’ enhancements.
-
Proposal on enhancement of applications for better performance.
-
Provide expert advice for best solution to new products/initiatives and production problems
-
Provide options/alternatives available to address Users Business Requirements and recommendation on software solution
-
Facilitate decisions on the Technical Approach to be used to address systems’ enhancements.
-
Responsible for business case and architecture papers.
-
Act as SPOC for GITA during RFI and RFP process.
