This position entails serving as the crucial link between two key internal clients, requiring in-depth expertise in logistics. As a SAP EWM expert (SME), you will not only oversee the logistics aspect but also collaborate with Project managers and two Product Owners (POs). Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in leading logistics projects in collaboration with TF and EF factories, focusing on transformation, Lean principles implementation, and process optimization.
It's important to note that this is not an IT role. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), especially SAP EWM, is highly recommended. However, what matters most to us is your logistics, project management and change management experience and intuition.
Role and responsibilities
As an SME within the Engineering Services, you are responsible for:

Defining and driving the structural improvement program within Operational Excellence in general.

Coaching and supporting teams and their managers to successfully achieve their LEAN ambitions through improvement actions, A3’s. Kaizen’s and projects.

Developing and supplying analyses, knowledge and expertise on the department’s, and their implementation in SAP and other IT tools.

Supporting the implementation and execution of transparent performance management systems, including target setting, meeting structures and reporting.

Creating, completing, updating the quality manual (process descriptions, work flows & instructions, one-point-lessons) and skills framework and training.
Education and experience

Bachelor or Master in business engineering, industrial engineering, operational management or logistics.

2-9 years’ experience in operational logistics engineering & project roles, preferably in a high-tech, low-volume assembly environment.

Hands-on experience with continuous improvement based on lean principles and effective change management.

Substantial and in-depth experience with SAP-EWM, their set-up and application is recommended.

As a business process specialist Logistics E you will report to the Manager Engineering Services within the Department Manufacturing Services – Operational Excellence.
Job Mission
Continuously improve, secure and standardize operational logistic. Enable and support effective and efficient execution in cooperation with operators and line management.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
