You will be responsible for management of Industrial Coatings Thailand business and covering Myanmar market. The Business Manager, IC Thailand is a key member of the IC SEA leadership organization. You will work closely with the IC Thailand team and functional teams to set, execute, and deliver the SBU objectives. You will report directly to General Manager, Industrial Coatings SEA Country Manager Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities

Define IC Thailand & Myanmar sales and business strategy, aligned with Regional BU strategy, and implement it.

To achieve annual financial plan objectives and growth goals for IC Thailand & Myanmar.

Identify new market/customer opportunities in various segments of the industrial coatings market.

Negotiate contracts with Key Accounts, ensuring value capture and attainment of account-level financial targets.

Strategically target and close on new business opportunities with current and new customers.

Manage a team of sales, tech service and support personnel.

Coaching and development of sales team members.
-
Visit customer locations as needed to support the business and maintain good relationships.

Work closely with SBU team including Segment Managers, Business Development, Marketing, Product Management, Technical and Technical Service, and functional stakeholders like Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, etc. as needed to communicate customer expectations and report progress on business improvement initiatives, and get the right level of technical and product support to achieve planned business results.

Support program management and new launch activities for New Product Introductions.

Communicate customer activities and sales activity to management through both verbal and written weekly/monthly reports including account performance metrics and sales pipeline.

Gather and provide competitive feedback concerning activities within the assigned market area.

Exhibit PPG Values related to EHS and Compliance and ensure PPG policies and procedures are always followed.
Qualifications

Minimum 8-10 years working experience as sales manager; experience of managing a team is preferable

Minimum 8-10 years working experience in a paint supplier or related field.

Good command of English and communication skill within and among department, a team player.

Can work independent with certain level of guidance provided.

Extensive traveling is required
