Purpose of the Role:
The Business Management Associate, Private Wealth supports the Head of Business Management, the Business Initiatives Manager, and other senior business management and operational needs across Private Wealth. Reporting into the Head of Business Management, this role will support and coordinate across all business management initiatives and activities, including planning and execution, process improvement, documentation and reporting.
Core Responsibilities:
Operational Support:
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of strategic and financial reports.
- Support the development and implementation of business plans and initiatives.
- Assist in the planning and execution of daily operational activities to ensure smooth functioning.
Planning and Execution:
- Draft operational plans to operationalize strategic visions.
- Support project implementation efforts.
Process Improvement:
- Support process improvement solution implementation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
Coordination & Communication:
- Coordinate within the division to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of strategic and financial reports.
Project Coordination:
- Coordinate multiple business initiatives.
- Assist in project management.
Project & Initiative Support:
- Assist in the development and implementation of business strategies and initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Strong level of proficiency across the MS Office suite.
- Strong logical and analytical thinking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced change environment and deliver with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to manage time, multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to think critically to solve problems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related field.
- Financial services, wealth or asset management experience is an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Project Management Institute, PgMP or PMP certification an asset.
Compensation & Benefits Package:
This position comes with a base salary range of $67,000 - $87,000 plus a competitive performance bonus, RRSP contribution and participation in our profit-sharing program. Base salary will be commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
