About the Role
As Ready Vision Business Lead, you will be responsible for all Ready Vision products, which currently includes AR Head Up Display (HUD) hardware, AR HUD software, QVUE projection solutions, as well as full windshield solutions. You will be executing to the current roadmap and create the next generation product and software strategy for all Ready Vision products. You will be responsible to shape, implement and execute on the short and long-term strategy and optimize near and long-term business results. You will lead a global team of experts to drive and define the Ready visions product lines while being responsible for the full P&L.
Your Team
You will lead an organization of approximately 150 resources comprising of professionals focusing on Product Management, Engineering (Optical, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Testing), Platform Management, UX Design and Requirements Management to define, design, and execute a comprehensive strategy for Ready Vision products.
What You Will Do
- Maintain a solid understanding of a rapidly evolving market and bring product focus on Augmented reality solution products (both hardware and Software), in plane solutions (QVUE), next gen product roadmap for Full windshield, Software defined products - Avatar, Next gen AR software development and maintain competitive awareness to support product positioning and sales enablement.
- Drive the next generation product roadmap and development for Ready vision with AI Orchestration and productize the full Windshield solution and software stack. Collaborate with external creative parties in the Cockpit AI space to develop product enablement materials and tools.
- Responsible for consumer-centric, OEM partner-empathic, new system definition and roadmaps, which will service our entire Intelligent cockpit global portfolio and Ready Vision product space.
- Define, Plan, and create, in collaboration with the manufacturing organization, the manufacturing strategy (cost, location, components, pricing, BCA, procurement, samples, POCs) with Make/Buy strategy for Ready vision products and create VAVE initiatives for competitive product costing and pricing.
- Manage the pursuit planning in sales force along with 5Y and 10-year planning. Provide the regional business sales and pursuit pipeline data at quarterly operational meetings, provide strategy updates during the yearly Automotive Strategy and CES/MWC Product show case, and develop launch strategies.
- Create compelling and differentiated system propositions based on product fit: market needs, consumer segments, customer fit, and technical feasibility; aligned to co-developed component product strategies and roadmaps, while ensuring system performance delivery via the overall and Ready vision product roadmaps, from ideation to
end of life
- Support pursuits and RFQ responses, product development, and launch, including working with engineering, marketing, public relations team, executives, and other product management team members.
- Identify gaps and generate new ideas contributing to improved consumer experience while addressing OEM partner pain points and needs, meeting Harman's business goals, and maturing our brand promises while staying accountable for near- and long-term financial results.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in Product development and delivery
- 7+ years in experience in leading delivery and definition of product roadmaps
- 5+ years in experience in financial management and P&L responsibility
- Familiarity with emerging Generative AI technologies in Automotive
- Business analysis to create product and platform business cases.
- Strong customer orientation through credibility with the customer as a trusted, collaborative, and productive partner.
- Experience working in a matrix, global, cross-functional organization by collaborating with key stakeholders in sales, product operations, marketing, and engineering.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with global teams
- Strong presentation skills internally and externally up to management level
- Strong capability to represent HARMAN outside to customers and other industrial leaders.
- Ability to think beyond the technology itself and understand key business drivers that ensure technology investment will provide substantial value or improvements to customers.
What is Nice to Have
- MBA and/or master’s in engineering degree
- Direct customer experience with the development and deployment of new in cabin technologies
- Experience managing external partners.

$ 232,500 - $ 341,000
