Your Focus
As a Strategy & New Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in to developing and rolling out business strategies, driving new business development projects and identify new opportunities for the Taste business growth. Your role will involve data mining, decoding them to actionable business insights & constantly look at our business performance and improve them. You will collaborate with multifunctional teams to integrate data from various sources, ensuring a holistic view of the business. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the company’s strategic initiatives and ensuring data & market facts driven decision-making across all levels of the organization.
How You Will Contribute.
- Drive development, review, and implementation of Taste (Flavor) growth strategy plans
- Formulate specific strategies and leading key programs to ensure Taste business growth and wins
- Explore new business opportunities/model for white space expansion.
- Work closely with business leaders to provide data-driven insights and support strategic decision-making
- Constantly review and analyse business performance and seek out opportunities/initiatives to improve them
- Conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking studies to assess market positioning.
- Collect, extract and analyze complex data sets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business decisions.
- Use analytics to derive critical understanding of business nuances and decode data to actionable business insights
- Collaborate with regional cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop tailored programs/initiatives that drive business value.
Key requirement
- Extensive experience in a business leadership role with commercial background
- 8-10 years' experience in Business Strategy/development space, preferably within the Flavors or Food Industry.
- Regional experience.
- Proven track record in developing and driving commercial strategies and new business development to meet business objectives.
- Proven ability in project management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets.
- Data driven mindset and strong analytical skills with experience in using internal, primary and syndicated research/data, market and competitive analysis.
- Ability to solve complex business problems using data. proactive in delivering actionable business insights and solutions from complex processes.
- High proficiency in Sales Force, BI tools, databases, and data analysis techniques
- Attention to Detail - High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings clearly.
- Ability to influence and a strong negotiator.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently across various time zone.
