Job Summary:

As a Business Intelligence Analyst at Illuminate USA, you’ll play a crucial role in turning complex data into clear, impactful visualizations that support our mission. You’ll collaborate with business partners to understand their needs, design user-friendly Power BI dashboards, and help unlock data-driven opportunities. Responsibilities

· Collaborate with business partners to understand their data needs and translate them into effective visualizations and dashboards.

· Connect to and extract data from various structured and unstructured sources, including databases, spreadsheets, APIs, and application logs.

· Design and develop user-friendly Power BI dashboards that effectively communicate data insights and support business objectives.

· Ensure optimal dashboard design, performance, and user experience.

· Perform ongoing data quality checks and validation to ensure the integrity of data used in visualizations.

· Secure sensitive and confidential data according to organizational, legal, and ethical standards.

· Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, transformations, and a user-friendly business dictionary.

· Utilize Python scripts to perform advanced analysis, including statistical modeling and predictive analytics.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

· 2-4 years of experience in business intelligence or data engineering.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and functional teams.

· Demonstrated ability to balance long-term strategic projects with urgent ad-hoc requests.

· Strong understanding of data modeling and dimensional design principles, including implementing slowly-changing dimensions and audit tables.

· Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries, joins, merges, and window functions.

· Experience with data warehouses (Microsoft SQL Server and/or Azure Synapse Analytics preferred) and BI tools (Power BI preferred).

· Experience with Python for data cleaning, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.

· Experience with version control (Git preferred) and release management.

· Manufacturing or supply chain industry experience is preferred.
