The Opportunity

We are looking for a detail-oriented and data-savvy individual who will play a pivotal role in leveraging marketing and sales data for business improvements. Working under the Business Intelligence Team, this position offers the unique opportunity to collaborate with senior GTM leadership by utilizing your technical skills and business acumen. 

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be the subject matter expert on DoiT’s marketing data and how that correlates with sales performance. This individual should be comfortable navigating around a data warehouse, using MarTech and CRM toolings, and being able to effectively communicate their findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Present and translate complex information in relevant business terms
  • Collaborate with the regional marketing and digital marketing teams to provide performance analysis and identify improvement opportunities
  • Regularly create, edit, and improve complex SQL queries for data extraction and automation
  • Utilize Looker, SQL, and Python to develop ad hoc reports that are digestible and relevant
  • Provide data to the marketing team for full funnel analysis, nurture campaigns performance, and campaign ROI with an eye for optimization 
  • Develop robust and insightful reports on regular cadences to communicate the performance of regional sales teams, marketing events, business development, and customer lifecycles

Requirements 

  • 3-5 years of experience with a proven track record in a similar role in the Information technology field
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills; written, verbal, and formal presentation, with the ability to confidently and effectively communicate to senior leadership
  • Advanced SQL skills (window functions, stored procedures, CTE’s, etc.)
  • Proficient Python skills
  • Knowledge of data types and database structures (BigQuery familiarity is a plus)
  • Proficient in general Go-to-Market (GTM) principles and strategies
  • Thorough understanding of digital marketing data including lead generation, lead lifecycles, web analytics, A/B testing, Paid Advertising, and attribution models
  • Advanced proficiency with business intelligence tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau)

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Cloud hyper scalers AWS, GGP and Azure.
  • Understanding of Salesforce-specific data modeling concepts 
  • Understanding of marketing automation tools like Pardot
