The Business Development Representative is a lead development and new business conversion specialist. This individual will work closely with the marketing team to discover, develop, and deliver qualified prospects to the Sales Team. He/She will engage with high-priority inbound leads to cultivate and qualify while communicating with director level and above prospects to understand business needs, key initiatives, budget and approval processes. The Business Development Representative will facilitate proper lead transition to internal Sales & Account Executive Teams to ensure a world class client experience.
What you will do:

Quickly respond, engage and qualify all inbound leads and inquiries to capitalize on prospect interest

Dedicated time weekly for outbound cold calling associated with current in market campaigns.

Execute email outreach utilizing campaign management tools, and make outbound calls to enrich prospect information and experience by understanding lead profile, key initiatives, challenges, and most critical priorities

Utilize internal tools and work with sales team to route leads appropriately

Deliver a summary of the opportunity and background of client needs/expectations with the aligned business partners

Coordinate and partner with sales executives to progress leads and opportunities throughout the sales cycle

Leverage internal CRM and engagement platforms to track leads, opportunities, and completed sales

Collaboratively work to improve and automate the lead qualification process. This includes the implementation of processes and workflows within CRM (Salesforce), as well as automated emails or other digital interactions.
What experience you need:

1-2 years of business experience - experience in the B2B space is a plus
