As part of our growth, we’re seeking a Business Development Representative with experience in B2B SaaS, Payments, and InsurTech clients.


As a Business Development Representative at Simply Easier Payments, you will do more than just identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting activities.  You will collaborate with hands-on industry veterans to create and implement strategies to target potential clients.   This will give you the opportunity to engage prospective clients in an energetic, professional, and positive manner through various promotional efforts to grow the business and help the company expand.


On an average day, you will:

  • Research and gather information about target industries, companies, and decision-makers to craft effective outreach strategies.
  • Generate lists of prospective clients for targeted marketing and sales activities using CRM tools.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and qualify potential leads through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities using CRM tools.
  • Provide regular updates on lead generation activities, pipeline status, and conversion rates.
  • Schedule and participate in product demos for prospective clients.
  • Measure the efficacy of sales outreach and lead conversion activities.
  • Develop communication and rapport with stakeholders.
  • Attend networking events and conferences.


To qualify for this role, you must have:

  • 2+ years of experience in a Business Development role in B2B SaaS, Payments, or Insurtech. 
  • Verifiable proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP,, and basic report building.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both online and in person.
  • An unapologetic drive for success with a willingness to learn and work hard to achieve results.
  • Desire to be a part of a growing sales team with career advancement opportunities.


We’d also love it if you have:

  • An Associate or Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field).
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales automation tools.


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 40-pound boxes and assemble/disassemble/pack/unpack tradeshow materials such as banners and signage.
