Our Business Development (BD) Team is the growth engine for Instabase. The BD team is uniquely responsible for helping the largest global enterprises push their pace of innovation by identifying new opportunities and challenging ordinary thinking. Our Field team is strategically expanding our client base in the Fortune 500 (>$1bn Revenue) segment, and we're fueling its future growth with strategic thinkers who are intentional about a career in sales, and driven by personal growth and impact.

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for discovering potential customers’ unique challenges and creating qualified business opportunities for the Instabase Enterprise Sales team.

What you’ll do:

  • Identify and conduct strategic outreach to potential customers through various channels (LinkedIn, email, cold calls, etc.) on behalf of the Instabase Enterprise Sales Team.
  • Curate targeted messaging campaigns that resonate with Enterprise decision-makers.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track and manage leads.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and product launches to effectively personalize outreach strategies.
  • Support early stage meetings to qualify prospects based on business needs, timeline, budget, and authority. 
  • Educate prospects on how AI Hub can benefit them financially and professionally.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Attend events (online and in-person) to meet with prospective customers & advocate for Instabase’s products.

 About you:

  • 6 - 36 months' of sales experience.
  • Ability to own strategy for generating pipeline into white space accounts.
  • High aptitude for cross-functional collaboration and influence both internally and externally.
  • Strong ability to understand an enterprise and develop key points of contact in multiple departments across multiple levels of leadership.
  • Research and data-driven approach to account planning to proactively identify opportunities from business-led discussions.
  • Self-starter who is invested in the team's success and can work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Highly technically curious - enjoys solving problems from scratch with first principles.
  • Demonstrated success exceeding performance metrics.
  • A vested interest in a growing career within Instabase.
  • Bachelors Degree.

The OTE salary range for this role is $95,000 to $105,000 + equity. The actual pay may vary based on factors such as location, experience, and skills.
