About the Role
As a Business Development Representative at Woodruff Sawyer, you’ll be a key player in growing our business. Reporting to the Director, Sales Operations and Enablement, you’ll help us shape the newest part of our marketing and sales growth engine while gaining a deep understanding of the industry.
What You’ll Do
- Drive growth and revenue through the research and development of leads on target lists.
- Conduct discovery calls and qualify leads prior to connecting them with production teams.
- Send invitations and encourage prospective clients to attend WS events.
- Develop and execute outreach campaigns aligned with the needs of the business.
- Maintain accurate client records in Salesforce, tracking key activity metrics.
- Foster relationships with prospective clients with strategic communications.
- Partner with marketing, Practice and Growth Leadership to manage outbound campaigns to increase lead volume

Experience & Qualifications
- Prior experience in lead generation, account management, or a customer-facing role
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Experience with the Salesforce ecosystem is a plus
- Experience in insurance or a similar service-based industry, B2B environment, and/or selling or marketing to the C-suite is preferred
- Broker’s license required to be obtained during onboarding period (within 90 days of start date)

More About Us
Compensation: Anticipated salary between $74,000 – $99,000. Salary offered will be dependent upon geography, experience, and expertise of the candidate.
This position is eligible to participate in an incentive program to earn additional compensation with a target equivalent to 25% of salary annually, based on individual and Company performance.
