The Opportunity


As a BDR on our US go-to-market team, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding Keboola’s footprint in the United States and Canada. We are in an exciting growth stage, making this the perfect opportunity for someone who thrives in a scaling SaaS startup environment. You’ll identify, prospect, and qualify potential customers, nurture leads, and create new business opportunities via meetings for Account Executives on  our US sales team.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify Prospects: Conduct thorough research to find and qualify potential customers within our target markets.
  • Generate High-Quality Leads: Utilize tools, platforms, and creative techniques to build a robust pipeline.
  • Engage and Nurture Leads: Implement outbound strategies using email, phone, and social media to connect with prospects.
  • Understand Customer Needs: Build relationships and learn about potential customers’ business challenges and goals.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Teams: Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads and coordinate with marketing to refine outreach strategies.
  • Schedule Appointments and Demos: Set up product demonstrations and meetings for the sales team.
  • Communicate Keboola’s Value: Clearly articulate how our platform solves real-world problems and delivers meaningful outcomes.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience: 2+ years in a sales development or lead generation role, preferably in the SaaS industry.
  • Technical Understanding: Familiarity with SaaS products and the ability to articulate their value to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Language Skills: Fluent English speaking and writing is required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to connect with prospects and team members effectively.
  • Technical Aptitude: Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach) and sales automation platforms. Ability to quickly learn and communicate the value of technical solutions like Keboola.
  • Motivated and Goal-Oriented: A self-starter who thrives on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proven Success: A documented history of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced, scaling startup environment.

  • Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience living or working in an English-speaking country
  • Worked experience with a company where business was done exclusively in English 
  • Experience using or selling data management, analytics, or cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce for pipeline management and forecasting.

What to Expect


The role requires working hours that overlap substantially with working hours in the United States (generally, 1pm - 9pm) in order to connect with prospective customers there.
