The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a critical role in supporting sales efforts aligned with DATAMARK’s Mission, Values, and Strategy. The BDR is responsible for processing inbound marketing leads, identifying and generating new sales leads, expanding the customer base, and collaborating with Sales Directors to drive growth. This role requires a proactive and professional approach to engaging potential clients through calls, emails, and other outreach methods. The BDR will also take ownership of Sales Tool Administration and RFP Tool Repository Maintenance, ensuring seamless workflows and accurate documentation to support sales initiatives. In addition, the role entails gaining proficiency in the sales process, integrating approved methodologies, and providing tailored solutions to advance opportunities in a competitive landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation and engagement by scheduling meetings, demos and opportunities for Sales Directors
- Engage with prospects through cold calling and emailing
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase DATAMARK's offerings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in target organizations.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and create compelling sales materials.
- Collaborate with the Client Development team to ensure a seamless handover of qualified leads.
- Track and report on sales metrics, maintaining accurate records in the CRM system.
- Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role, preferably within the BPO industry.
- Proven ability to identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Results-driven attitude with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to assess and strategize based on financial metrics like ROI, cost-per-lead, and customer lifetime value
