Summary:
As a member of the Business Development Representative (BDR) team, you will play a key role in driving YCharts' sales success alongside our award-winning marketing team. If you have a strong interest in fintech and financial services, enjoy sales, are naturally competitive, and work well in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:

  • Identify, create, and respond to defined accounts via phone and email (inbound + outbound sales opportunities).
  • Qualify interested financial advisors and introduce them to YCharts Account Executives.
  • Educate prospective clients on YCharts' sales process to establish positive client relationships.
  • Actively participate in weekly team meetings and training sessions


Requirements

  • Prior sales training and/or experience with cold/warm calling.
  • Experience in fintech or within the financial advisor community is a plus.
  • A proactive, personable, and approachable demeanor with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Grit, determination, and a positive attitude, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly over the phone.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field a plus.

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is between $50,000 and $55,000, with eligibility for an annual SMART Goals Bonus of 5%. Commission potential is uncapped, with a projected Variable OTE ranging from $18,000 to $20,000. The final salary offered will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, specialized skills, level of education, certifications or professional licenses, business needs, and prevailing market conditions.
