The Business Development Representative will focus on identifying prospective SMB and Mid-Market sellers for Clearpay by cold-calling, researching potential clients, and documenting interactions via CRM. They will work closely with Account Executive teams to build a sales pipeline and communicate the Clearpay value proposition effectively.

The Role
As a Business Development Representative, you will be on the front line of our fast-growing buy now, pay later (BNPL) business, Clearpay. In this role you will lay the foundation of this sales effort through identifying prospective SMB / Mid-Market sellers and promoting the value of Clearpay for their business.
You Will

  • Cold-calling into targeted accounts to uncover and qualify opportunities.
  • Build a network; research prospective clients through the use of web/social media, internal databases and external tools to identify leads.
  • Document client interaction and/or prospect efforts through the use of a CRM.
  • Partner and strategize with Account Executive teams to build pipeline.
  • Clearly communicate the Clearpay value proposition over the phone
  • Share ideas and best practices with the team to contribute to Clearpays growth.

  • Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects
  • Tenacity & determination
  • Experience with cold calling
  • A desire to grow your career in sales


Additional Information

  • Please note that this role offers hybrid working, attending the office 1-2 days per week, the remainder working from home if so desired.
