Join us as our new Business Development Manager – Planetary Health, Europe

As the Business Development Manager in Region Europe marketing team, you will become part of an exciting and dynamic industry team where we make an impact by helping our customers to increase their productivity and achieving their sustainability ambitions.
 

We are looking for an energetic and passionate colleague who thrives on learning, having many balls in the air and working with many internal and external stakeholders. Your main focus area will be to learn and stay updated on European policies related to renewable energy, and strategically capitalize on these policy developments, translating what they mean for Novonesis' value proposition. You enable our sales and marketing teams’ deep industry expertise, helping us to achieve our ambition being the trusted partner for our customers within European BioEnergy space.

You will collaborate closely with the regional marketing managers, public affairs partner, sales teams, and other internal and external stakeholders. You will report to Regional Marketing Director, have an impactful role in a dynamic team and have regular management exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the legal and regulatory framework governing renewable energy in Europe.
• Monitor political developments in EU and understand how they may influence renewable energy policies.
• Convert understanding of the policies and political changes into Novonesis strategic value propositions and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Regional Marketing Managers in BioEnergy and BioDiesel to understand their perspectives and build consensus around proposed value propositions.
• Communicate the value propositions derived from the understanding of the directive to internal and external stakeholders.
• Closely align the and collaborate with global and regional marketing colleagues as well as public affairs, ensuring that we develop our industry expertise and have a common understanding of how Novonesis can add value to our customers.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in relevant field (e.g., environmental policy, energy economics, political science, economics).
• 5+ years proven experience in policy analysis, strategy development, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of European energy policy and regulatory landscape.
• Strategic Expertise: Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, expertise in market analysis and positioning.
• Communication: Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Team Player: with the ability to collaborate with cross functional stakeholders.
• Language: Fluent in English. Knowledge of other European languages is a benefit.

Additional Information:

• Travel Requirements: Regular travel, within Europe, is expected.

The job will be located in our headquarters in Lyngby or remotely in Europe
